Brand Identity & US Tour Campaign for Artist Austin Mahone
I was honored to be approached by Austin Mahone's management team to design his visual identity and the campaign for his 2013 US Tour. The popular music industry is infamous for visual embellishment and an unfortunately common lack of taste. Therefore, the result of the campaign was a slightly risky one. The direction in which I took the artwork was modern, clean and simplistic. The logo being the basic visual focus, legibly making use of bold typography. It balances the colorful photography perfectly. All collateral and promotional material follows the same overall "broken glass" concept, which is also very versatile, and may be used in various future executions. Overall, the look and feel of the
campaign is designed to focus on the artist, and allow for his music and
strong character to take center stage.
