  • Austeria is a publishing house located in the Klezmer House, heart of Kazimierz, the Jewish district of Krakow in Poland. The company is run by Wojtek and Malgosia Ornat who are pioneers in the promotion of Jewish culture and Jewish-themed tourism in Poland. Indeed, the book's publisher, the Jewish publishing house Austeria, is part of a renewal of Jewish culture in Poland while its headquarter is also a Jewish-themed cafe, a bookstore and a hotel.

  • I have spent a year in Krakow in a work placement at
Austeria, prearranged by Leonardo DaVinci European exchange and the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. I designed new covers and book designs for Austeria publishing house under the guidance of the famous polish poster and book designer Wladyslaw Pluta and the French to Polish translator Adam Wodnicki.
