Audrey Hepburn in pen and paint

My Photo-realist Drawings of Audrey Hepburn
in ballpoint pen and spray paints
The below artwork was done with 2 mediums. 1 black ballpoint (Bic) pen, and 1 can of light blue spray paint, on card (55x40 cm).
I created the drawing over the span of about 6 weeks. I estimate it took a total of 85 hours.
I specialize in photo-realist drawings done in pen (www.jamesmylne.co.uk) and Audrey Hepburn is my latest project. Below the 2  images is a video showing the creation of the artwork from start to finish.
Below shows a zoomed in area of the drawing showing the detail. Below right is of the finished artwork framed, at a recent exhibition where it was revealed.
The original artwork is sold, but there is a limited edition of 100 highest quality Giclee prints for sale (www.jamesmylne.co.uk)
Below: youtube video showing the start - finish process. I have found it important to create videos showing the process as some people have found it difficult to believe at face value that my artworks are created by hand with a ballpoint pen.
Below are a set of 3 other drawings (triptych) of her, also done in ballpoint and spray paints. These are smaller though. (sold).
Altogether I was aiming to capture her in a more peaceful, contemplative, serene and modest way than she is often shown (too much focus on her when she has big cheesy grin and a cigarette in one hand).
As a result of these artworks I have received a number of commissions and sold a lot of prints of it. It obviously appeals to a wide audience. Something everyone would happily have on their wall or buy for someone they know will.
