For this project we were given the Auckland Festival 2009 Progamme Brochure, in which had to recreate the information into a website. The specifications were to design and code five working web pages.
My design uses a beautiful big background on every single page, with large header text and strong use of left alignment. The homepage background is a slideshow that softly fades through three other images to capture the user. This image is also the branding for the 2009 brochure. I coded the navigation bar to smoothly roll down as you hover on the sections for more options. Another feature is when you scroll down, the background image stays in place and the text appears to float above it
