Attwood Marine is one of the leading manufacturers of boat parts and accessories in the world. In 2010 the company started to produce parts and accessories for the paddle sports industry and wanted a new identity for this line. This logo was in the process of being implemented when it was decided the company would stick to a small icon to differentiate the boat and paddle sport products.
Using the Attwood crest and logotype typeface of Gill Sans, it served as a brother to the currently used Attwood shield but stood on its own.
