From here to there, for this, and back
3rd in the series.
I love SatNav. It allows you to meander, to
take in the world without having to fret about maps, direction, route.
You know you are heading in the right direction. When I left Nice on a
rainy Friday afternoon I set my SatNav to 'shortest route' home, and
told it to avoid motorways and toll roads. I had until Sunday to get to the
ferry in Calais.This is what arrested my journey (other than cafe cremes, pain et fromage and sleep).
