Event Objectives:
- Pave the way for Abu Dhabi to become a global cultural destination with the creation of the Cultural District on Saadiyat Island, which will be home to the Sheikh Zayed National Museum, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi modern and contemporary arts museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi universal museum, a maritime museum, performing arts centre and cluster of arts pavilions
- Strategically promote and position Saadiyat Island in general and it's Cultural District specifically by preparing its audience for the future developments
Brief:
- TDIC will bring the world’s finest and most comprehensive Islamic art collection encompassing the entire history of the art of Islamic lands from the 7th century until the present day to the UAE Capital
- The exhibition is themed ‘Truly God Is Beautiful and loves Beauty’. A selection of works from the 20,000 renowned Khalili collection will go on display for the first time in the Middle East at the Exhibition Hall in the Emirates Palace Hotel
- ‘The Arts of Islam’ exhibition will start from Jan 23 until April 22, 2008 at the exhibition hall of the Emirates Palace.
Requirements
- To organise and implement the three events
- To take care of all logistics related to these events – beyond venue booking and catering
- To create the room dressing, branding and signage in and around the venue
- To come up with creative ideas in events management
- To take care of the full invitation process – sending the invitations and RSVP’s
- Photography and video management
Services Provided:

- Creative adaptation
- Branding & design: set design, printed VIP invitations, banners, cut-outs, backdrops, giveaways, Press kit, etc.
