- Artists' book
- YEAR: 2000Student project for the subject called Illustration were the goal was to develop an artists' book. For this task, I was given the choice to work on my own theme and preferred media. Daily rituals is an exploration into everyday activities which appear to be done in an unconsciously and orderly fashion. The project emerged as a series of experimental images that originated from the combination of photography, vectors, and the use of fictitious colors. The intent was to turn the attention onto these ordinary activities and give them an unusual look and feel. In the first ritual of “tooth brushing” I emphasized the idea of motion while the “waiting” ritual is embedded with a sense of despair, doubt and fear.
