The assignment for this poster design was to create a promotional piece for the Victoria & Albert Museum Art of Chess Exhibit. The exhibit brings thousands of different styles of chess pieces and displays the pieces as individual works of art. To exploit the art aspect of the exhibit, the poster shows a chess piece being squeezed out of an oil paint tube, a common medium to create masterpieces.
