A client came to me with the idea for a site that would help users create their own brands, vote on each other's brands, display and sell artwork and purchase products, such as shirts, featuring that art.
The project consisted of three areas:
- Brand-building/Voting/Art-Sellling: This part of the site is where a member would create their brand page and show off their designs and art. Members would vote on brands as a whole, which would get them a production contract. The site was also meant to have a robust in-site marketing program consisting of a 'magazine' and promotional commercials for user brands.
- An e-commerce engine: This was meant for selling the produced products, as well as non-produced art to other members.
- User Forums
Ultimately, I delivered a series of site outlines/architectures and wireframes. After I was no longer involved, the client decided to scale back and eventually go in a different direction.
