Boutique Design
For the weekend of June 24 - 26, 2009, I participated in the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham Summer Collaboration Project. This project consisted of high school students interested in fashion design, advertising, graphic design and interior design to collaborate together to create professional level work for a boutique design. I was the only interior design student in this project. This is the collaboration an assisting AI professor and myself came up with.
The Boutique Design has a modern - contemporary feel using jewel tones, cool grays, and warm wood floors. The design is focused around the circle and flow of the space. The space includes showcase space for designs, clothing racks, a lounge area, multiple changing rooms, a bathroom and an employee break-room.
