  • This illustrative campaign is a self initiated project
    created for the IPad range. The main theme behind
    this campaign is "creativity on the go", showing how
    the Ipad is a portable artistic tool that can allow
    creatives to express themselves freely.
     
    I wanted to create a piece of work which shows this
    theme and how the IPad can bring imagination to
    life, across a spectrum of practises. However I felt
    it was most important to use the IPad within the
    creative process of this illustration.
     
    For me, I believe the IPad to be the perfect note pad, 
    allowing me to jot down ideas and sketches in full 
    colour without the hassle of a huge bag of tools and 
    most importantly mess. I could take my IPad to the
    local cafe or be on the train traveling to a business
    meeting. I can sketch my ideas as they come to me 
    and then easily transport them to back to my studio
    for a final editing and rendition. The IPad is practicle.
     
    This illustration started life as a series of coloured
    sketches whilst I was out of town, using the IPad, 
    Sketchbook Pro and a Bamboo Stylus. These were 
    then developed and used as the bases of my final 
    pencil Photoshop illustration.
     
    Ideally this campaign would invite several designers
    to create their own vision behind the theme of...
