Apppulp is a discovery service for iOS games. We are focused on helping good quality games get lasting exposure through user engagement. Our algorithms surface out games that are hooking users up and help them get noticed, irrespective of their marketing budgets. This way, games with real replay value are highlighted, not the “wealthy” ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

To launch Apppulp to limited audience (game developers) we needed a single page beta page, which can explain the core idea and potential of apppulp. Came up with full width layout with unique icons to define each functionality.

After the launch of Beta A , we tracked the clicks and scrolls of users. After analysis we realised 80% of users are not even scrolling or clicking anywhere on the screen. We knew it was time to change. After few research I designed interactive layout, with opening screen covering the full page and showcasing the CORE functionality of the site "Real Time App Sessions". This idea proved to be more effective. 

 

We launched this page for developers who subscribed and showed interest in using apppulp.

 

 

 

 

 

Created a short motion piece for promotion. The video only highlights the functionality of apppulp. 

Designed icons and a letter to mail gaming studios about the new features AppPulp will be launching in coming months.

 

Information Design: AppPulp is a challenging task as it contains a variety of content. I had to come up with an interface design which can cater differnt content type and display them keeping in mind the priority of content and user requirement.
