Apothecary Tea
Tea branding & packaging

A self-directed project for my graduating year, Apothécary was created out of my own love for tea, and the health uses/benefits from specific tea types. Hypothetical customers could come to Apothécary to 'treat' simple ailments such as stomach upset, trouble sleeping, and mild cases of the blues. Packaging was derived from the shape of old style medicine bottles, and the logo was developed around the image of a timer – useful for both pharmacists of old, and the precise making of a proper cup of tea.

Three sizes of packaging for loose tea, a teabag package, infuser package, poster (not shown) and process book were created for this project. Each package was developed, cut and put together by hand, using a variety of papers.
