Animals have been adopted to represent nations for centuries. They have been using them to symbolise characteristics and traits that a country wishes to portray as well as the values that the nation stand by. For some nations, there are those that have multiple animals associated with a particular country. Either representing the different regions of a country or others being used to represent its population. The brief was to create a series of animal illustrations that represents a nation from around the world. Each illustration is made up using small geometric shapes.
