La caja de tipos's profile

Typography
Without any doubt, this is the most personal and difficult project we have done in our studio. Before the two of us founded and formed La caja de tipos, we were dating. We knew that one day we would have to design our own wedding invitation, and when the time came, we realized how complicated it was going to be. On the one hand because, as they say, the most demanding client a designer can have is himself and on the other hand because due to the amount of work of this type that we usually design throughout the year, when people found out that we were getting married they congratulated us and then told us that they were eager to see what we were going to do. We did many proporsals before reaching the solution that we show you below.

We were clear that we wanted it to be an editorial project and then we came to the conclusion that typography, being one of our passions, had to be present. For this reason we decided to design an alphabet that would show the elements with which the guests were going to find throughout the day of our wedding. In this way, making use of the first letter of each word, we create a catalog of small typographic games.

We hope you like it.
