Old Logo.
Ana Masry band is just like egypt ,with all of it's diversity and complex mixture of creed, origin and education ,that's show up apparently in their music and chosen lyrics nevertheless it doesn't reflect on the old logo .

The Previous Logo was written in a Square Kufi Type , One of the oldest Arabic scripts that has been developed in the 3rd or 4th century A.D , But it was apparent that this logo is too traditional and conventional for a band like Ana Masry presenting a kind of Alternative Contemporary Egyptian Music.
So our ambition was to create a more librated mark that could represent the band vision of freedom and Independence , and associate the brand with wide range of audience .
We go for for the free calligraphy style which is not restricted by the writing rules of any of the known standard scripts. This free style relies on the beauty of Arabic glyphs and how they can be curved, twisted, and reshaped to form a visual melody and eye-catching artwork .
يمثل فريق أنا مصرى مصر بكل تنوعها و خليطها المتشابك من العقائد و الأجناس و نوعية التعليم , ويظهر هذا التنوع
بوضوح فى موسيقاهم و إختيارهم للكلمات ،غير أنه لا يظهر فى الشعار القديم بالشكل المطلوب .
كتب الشعار القديم بالخط الكوفى المربع ,أحد أقدم الخطوط العربية والذى يعود إلى القرن الثالث أو الرابع ميلادية , لكن كان واضحاً أن الشعار تقليدى و كلاسيكى غير مناسب لفريق مثل أنا مصرى يقدم نوعاً من الموسيقى المصرية المعاصرة البديلة .
كان طموحنا أن نصنع شعاراً أكثر تحرراً و الذى بدوره يمثل رؤية الفريق المستقلة , ويربط الهوية بشريحة أوسع من الجمهور ، لذلك إخترنا الخط العربى الحر المتحرر من كل قواعد الكتابة لأى خط من الخطوط المعروفة , هذا الأسلوب الحر يعتمد على جمال الرموز العربية بإنحناءتها و تشابكها و إعادة تشكيلها لتكون نغمة بصرية و عمل فنى ملفت للأنظار
