In this piece, I tried to convey what it means to eternally be in a state of "ampersand". As humans we are perpetually wanting more, every day there is something we need, something we want, that we try with all we have to get, whether or not it is good for us in the end. This is a concept that I see in myself, and in the people around me:
I want x & y & z & then I would really like this other thing too. Tomorrow I will want this & that & more. When will it stop? When will we just be, satisfied?
