The brief was to package a lunch time wrap and treat.
I have created a unique brand and an attractive packaging design solution that can work across a range of products. Ampersand is a food and beverage brand concept that encourages consumers to purchase combinations of their favourite wraps, treats and drinks.
The visual identity can be broken down into 3 key brand elements, the logo, typographic style and colour palette each reinforcing their own key brand values.
The style of logo reflects the brand values of quality and indulgence. A single ampersand is used and acts as a graphical element on the packaging as well as communicating the message of combination.
The typographic style is chunky and bold, which gives you a sense of the hearty type of food they sell. It emphasises the brand values of warmth and friendliness, while being strong and confident.
Colour is a key product navigation tool for the time poor consumer, so I have used a striking colour palette for high impact and to engage and stimulate the consumer. Vibrant, fresh and dynamic colours depicted fish in blue, vegetarian in green and spicy meat in orange.
