These were the sketches sent to the client in the first round. The concept was "Dallas/ Ft. Worth, TX"
This was the first of the two selected for a color round.
This was the second tight-sketch that received color.
This was the final for round one. At that time I was told that the project was killed by the client... I heard back from the agency a year later for a new illustration for the same project.
The first tight-pencil sketch. This time the theme was just "Ft. Worth".
After a few rounds of changing the face and cows and making the colors brighter, this was the final accepted by the client.
