An exercise in lettering
This is my first practice in lettering. The following explains each step in the process. This was quite fun and I look forward to experimenting with more lettering in the future. Enjoy!
First I scribbled down some ideas that came to mind based on lettering that I've seen.
Then I finalized my scribble.
The next step was using my scribble as a guide to draw the lettering in Illustrator and refine the shapes.
