This project was based on the form of a cube. If one were to draw imaginary lines from the joints between the octagonal faces, the object would form a cube. It was built using a central support section with six faces riveted to precicely pre-measured counter-sunk holes. Measures approximately 3.5 inches in all dimensions.
These studies were simple experiments with 16 guage aluminum sheet and copper wire. The metal was pre cut then rolled to form a cylindrical shape that could contain smaller design elements using tension. Both measure under 4 inches.
