Concept, design and realization of a temporary exhibition at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Bolzano (Italy).
An exhibition about geological photos of Bernhard Edmaier. The idea was to interpret the various „formchangings“, a mountain goes trough, as the viewer changes his point of view. At the entrance this is made by a tipografical anamorphosis. In the exhibition, we put the photographies in passe-partouts, so there is always just one picture fully visible – just by „hiking through“, you will discover new pictures, like new point of views. Furthermore the design is an interpretation of the geological alpine formations of the Dolomites, with their straight white rocks. Thanks to the cross vault, the light which is blasted through the passe-partouts gets the linear charachter of a mountain range.
