Alphaville is the most exclusive gated comunity in the suburbs of São Paulo. Cristina's company, Collab Arquitetura, competed against several other practices and won this project in April 2012.
The client's brief for this project was to remodel and update the style of the existing house, bought 20 years ago, to the family’s new habits and preferences. The brief included dealing with the local planning authority to extend the existing indoor terrace, complete interior design and decor for the main rooms, and to accomodate the client’s desire for full air-conditioning, underfloor heating and home automation throughout.
