‘All Things Pass’ is a series that explores the way that photographs aid and supplement memory. The work has been created using old photographs that are a link to my unknown family history, which have allowed me to manufacture my own memories. By choosing just a small part of the images suggests how our memory picks up on only small details, and is fragmented, so much information is left out and forgotten, not allowing you to get the full picture.
Printed very small, selenium and sepia toned the work shows how valuable, delicate and intimate memories are and how each memory is different from the next.
