Algaster is an alga harvesting system, designed for a future agricolture's evolution, less powerful but more intelligent. In fact, algae can be used for energy production because of their high oil content. Furthermore, they provide water cleaning in polluted areas where algae growth may exceed normal conditions (eutrophic waters), generating so energy from pollution.
Every machine works individually, communicating between each other like a swarm of insects. Each unit can harvest 100kg of algas every time, storing the load in ten containers placed on the upper side. As the unit ends the available storage, an inflatable structure brings it on the surface.
