    This garment was created in response to hand-spun cashmere provided by Herati Cashmere & Skin Processing Plant in Afghanistan. It comments on the production of cashmere yarn via gender in Afghanistan. 
  • This garment responds to the production of hand spun cashmere yarn from Afghanistan. The vest on top is machine knit reflecting the industrial and machine refined process of the yarn by the men in preparation for the hand spun job by the women which is reflected in the hand knit base layer.
