Adobe Max 2009 Website
AKQA New York, along with Vasava and RED, were chosen to create the 2009 site for the Adobe MAX Developer conference. The theme was 'the urban city', and we were specifically tasked with visually representing that through typography. The end result created five different cities, and a combination of 10 different typefaces, building a virtual city from words submitted by users. The more times a word was entered, the larger its typographic version became. At the conference, Adobe chose our design to become the cover of the guide, and one half of the tote bag, along with being featured on giant posters all over the event.
