Business Card Design
A photographer and friend of mine needed new business cards and I offered to design them for him. My initial idea for this project was to create a card the resembled a fortune teller's card. The main logotype's purpose on the front is to give the impression of a camera lens. I wanted to capture the humor and oddity of a fortune teller's card while communicating that this was in fact a photographer's business card. Unfortunately for me as the designer, my dreams for this project were refused as the client wanted a more professional card. Despite my reasons behind designing the card to resemble a fortune teller's card, the illustrations were stripped and humorous tagline was removed to make a simpler, more professional card.
