This illustration is my entry for a contest hosted by the french online community CFSL.net for their 2012 exhibition in Paris, in october. The deadline for submitting is july 1rst and the selection will be made from july 2 to july 10.
Absinthe, also known as the Green Fairy, is an alcohol with a story that comes with many mysterious tales and legends. This anise-flavoured drink was really popular in the late 19th and early 20th century in the city of Paris, France. Many famous artists of this period like Hemingway, Rimbeaud, Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh, just to name a few, have met the Green fairy.
