Echoes from the 1915 earthquake in Abruzzo
after nearly 100 years, many traces are still present
we have just to look aroud us
to see today what happened yesterday
and learn from the past
...
but seems too difficult to do
Ruined buildings from some villages around the Marsica area (Abruzzo, central Italy)
this area was hit by a severe earthquake in january 1915
several villages was partially or totally destroyed
and later rebuilt
in one case, the new village was again abandoned
