Pop-up shop is a strategic marketing tool for companies. They can some in various forms, from ice cream trucks to teepee style tents. For my retail management class, my group focused on creating a pop-up shop for the online fashion retailer, ASOS. In this project, we implement new and innovative technology and design. We created a product assortment as well as marketing efforts for this store. We placed the shop at Lollapalooza, a major music venue in Chicago. My favorite aspect of this project was the implementation of the actual store, which I created in Google Sketch up. I have always expressed a huge interest in store development, and this was my opportunity to show exactly what I would create.
