- Art DECO inspired projects
Some of the Steel Furniture and Furnishings that I've created, utilizing the decorative motifs of the Roaring Twenties.
- The Art Deco Fireplace Screen was inspired by the work of Master Metal Worker Edgar Brandt.
The etched glass Art Deco Console was created from a pair of vintage casement windows salvaged from a residence in Argentina, brought to me by a client that desired to have them rePurposed into a Console Table of my design. After creating a Steel frame, and fitting a piece of new sandblasted glass for the top, I also created
4 nickel-plated legs to further enhance the Art Deco-ness.
The 2nd Art Deco Fireplace Screen is also based on a historical design, that I hand forged to create a Vintage look, sized to fit perfectly into the clients fireplace orifice.
The 3rd Art Deco Fireplace, is a rePurposed Architectural Artifact :: made into a Fireplace Screen by adding steel that was hand-forged to mimic the decorative texture of the '20's.
