For initial use at the Light + Building 2012, the world’s biggest trade fair for lighting and building services technology, the Offenbach-based design studio for innovative ideas SensoryMinds developed a revolutionary, cross-media trade fair presentation based on the concept of Hoffmeister Marketing Manager Christian Brandes. Visitors to the trade fair were therefore able to be present as the digital age dawned at this traditional company with more than 100 years of history. A 15-metre-long multi-touch wall with Full HD resolution was at the centre of the trade fair presentation. It allowed the company's extensive new product range to be experienced through play and multimedia using sensitive gesture control. “After all”, emphasised Heiko Hoffmann, Creative Solutions Director at SensoryMinds, perpetually in the development process, “emotion is a very significant factor in the acceptance of visionary digital media.”
