ARBONIUM is a material-coupling, which is studying the natural connection between wood
and metal. It's part of transforming - an intersection - ,that is showing the meeting, unionism and
passing of materials. Inside a regular prism, dripstone-like formations were created, which are
unique and creature-like material mutations. They develop an own world, that is based on an
inimitable system. This work was the main inspiration, while we were creating our plastic-series.
The little creatures evolved inside the form, got the main attention in our art project.
Second part of the ARBONIUM-serie, is a public place sculpture. The first plastic inspired cube
is planned to be 3x3x3,2 m. In the flesh, the cube's lower part would be designed from stone, the
upper side from steel. The main goal was to find the most important detail. To zoom into and
define it with our own hands. This part of the sculpture is the separator tear, which was inspired
by the smooth steel's markings. It's a cave-like form, which is formed by lot of sections. This kind
of implementation enabled the opposite between of the smooth surface and the tear, that is build
of irregular layers.
The third part of the ARBONIUM-serie is a concept-leveled wall. This wall is made from 3
meters high panels and the creatures, whom were mentioned at the first plastic are build in to the
surface. Actually, the structure is designed from layers just like in the case of the paper-model.
