APPARTENENZE 2.0
I was born in Modena's province by a family from southern Italy.
When I was three years old we moved to Piacenza, a shift to the west of less than 150 kilometers as the crow flies. Later, when I was eight, we moved again: 75 kilometers to the east this time, and we settled down in Reggio Emilia.
Nothing in the world's geography, a vastness in a child's belonging-geography. The difficulty of placing myself in a particular provenance has led me to feel mine every place, rather than to feel like a "territory's stateless". I belong to the place where I am situated at a certain moment and to the place that I look at. I am increasingly sure that nowadays the ordinary only has the power to amaze us. These are just some herbs from my garden.

Sono nato nella provincia di Modena da una famiglia proveniente dall'Italia del sud.
A tre anni ci trasferimmo a Piacenza, uno spostamento a ovest di meno di 150 chilometri in linea d'aria e dopo cinque anni di nuovo verso est di 75 chilometri, a Reggio Emilia.
Nulla nella geografia del pianeta. Una enormità nella geografia di appartenenza di un bambino.
La difficoltà di collocarsi in un luogo preciso di provenienza anziché rendermi un " apolide del territorio " mi ha portato a percepire ogni luogo come mio.
Appartengo al luogo dove sono e lo osservo.
Sono sempre più convinto che ormai solo il banale ha ancora la capacità di stupirci.
Queste sono alcune erbe spontanee del mio giardino.
