This cardboard chair was designed as a university project, and was exhibited at the Decorex show in Johannesburg. It is branded using the ANC colours and logo (as the target market, and idea of strength). It has been constructed from die-cut double fluted cardboard sheeting and is able to easily and comfortably support a person. It has been in use for several years and is still structurally sound. Although the edges have frayed slightly, the strenght of the cardboard has not been affected. In the future I may look at getting it manufactured, however, for now I still have the prototype shown in the photographs.
