- Night divides us,
Her dark lashes a heavy veil.
Between the worlds a maelstrom quickens -
Churns the ocean,
Stirs the Sirens.
The Catskin Queen offers me
The honeyed milk of death.
In slender cupped hands she
Holds the luxurious and potent drink;
Sweet cream that seduces,
Alluring decadent poison.
Illuminates my throat,
A humming fire
- Queen of the Unlight
On a throne of stars;
I call her name
Across the cosmic ocean wastes.
Come, sprites and spirits of chaos!
Harpies and creatures of
The scaled, fanged
And wickedly taloned.
Arise and follow the lure
The light of my voice.
The song of the Catskin Queen
Is diabolical velvet;
She murmurs a curse of violet death
And casts it upon the Deceiver of my flesh.
- She pours herself into my blood
As lustrous visions
Of luciferous lights and
Of sweet sea-pearls entwining golden hair
And his pale cadaver
Floating face down in black water.
Oh death, I wish to become immersed in you.
In your sleek, tender sheets,
Tangled between your sleeping thighs.
I seek your burning reverence,
Sear me with your hot, fetid tongue -
With your many teeth devour
My yearning flesh.
She laces stars with her white-wind breath;
