My client from a company located in a small village in the heart of Bali’s cashew region. They consider social and environmental sustainability an essential part of profitability and every decision they make is made with the community.
Desa Ban, Karangasem, one of the poorest and driest areas of Bali. There is no industry in the area and almost every resident is a farmer. Cashews, mangoes and cows are the primary sources of income for the community. There is no tourism. The area is in the rain show of Mount Agung and as such only receives rainfall 4 months a year and there are no rivers. I was inspired with their approach to work and idea to help people in Karangasem. My clients found the way to buy machine from Sri Lanka to remove shelves from cashew fruits in house, saving money and giving more work placements to people in village. They asked me to come with marketing ideas for their project, naming, philosophy and of cause design. It was a pleasure working with their team and i am pleased with result we have!

Firstly i focused on philosophy, legend and naming. Alamente in indonesian means Natural cashews....easy), but thats what reflect the nature of project. So i created three logos : Brand Logo, Company Logo and Corporate.
I developed the system of communication with their customers by bringing them to the actual place, there those cashews are planted, produced , packed for them. I wanted place to be reflected on the package, especially Agung Vulkano, the feel of cashew nuts trees, leaves, fruits. Giving customers feel of journey while they enjoying these nuts
The task was to create 1KG bag, 250 g bag with RAW CASHEWS, and 6 flavors 100 g bags and 40 g bags. 1KG and 250 g are vacuole bags, for restaurants and big companies. For 100 and 40 grams we decided using recycled paper to pack nuts and use stickers produced in Denpasar. For flavors and quality stamps we decided to create ink stamps! And here we are:
