Role: Concept Development and Art Direction
The Arlington Initiative to Reduce Emissions (AIRE) is working to inspire community-wide change in energy conservation--but first, they had to prove that they could practice what they preach. In an effort to reduce emissions and save resources for all county government operations, our firm developed an internal marketing campaign to be posted in all county buildings reminding employees to practice simple conservation methods.
The campaign featured superheroes and villains, all centered around the "everyday hero" of Captain Conservation. In addition to working with the team on overall concept development, I also assisted with the writing and taglines for the campaign, as well as art direction and image selection.
