- Campaign Overview:Our fall ADV 475 class, divided into 4 groups, participated in a competition by developing, designing, creating, and presenting a creative ad campaign for a client. The client this semester was Butterfly Twists -- a young and ambitious international brand that provides affordable, stylish, and quality foldable flats for women on the go. The product conveniently folds for an easy fit in any purse and can pulled out at a moment's notice when feet are aching to slip out of uncomfortable high heels. The client, however, stressed that they wanted to be known as a fashionable product over mere practicality. Our goal was to create brand awareness in the US market and encourage product trial. Our target market is comprised of young professional women, 18-30 years old. The main idea behind our campaign is the understanding that modern women struggle with finding balance in a world of chaos. We hoped to appeal to women who are juggling the various demands of life by introducing Butterfly Twists as a product that cleverly compliments this on-the-go lifestyle. This idea of balance is stylistically reflected in female circus entertainers who are performing fantastical balancing acts. Through the use of this high-end circus theme, we are able to highlight the style and sophistication of the product.
