REPORTERS SANS FRONTIERES
Reporters Without Borders made abrief for the Swiss Ads contest called the « GRAND ». The purpose wasto promote RSF, its fight for the worldwide press freedom and thus, increase public awareness. The project hereunder, classified into the School category,won the first prize in June 2011.
To demonstrate that it is easy to manipulate information and that this is ongoing.The campaign has been realized in four steps as follows:
A fake reporter’s kidnapping has been organized, shooted and spreaded on social network
A front page has been created in order that people stick to it and believe it is real.
Arriving on Facebook via the QRcode or the URL, the public was discovering how he has been manipulated and could get more information about the campaign and RSF via the link www.rsf-ch.ch
The print would be the revelation of the campaign on the web and in the streets.
