Layout design created to capture the evolution of Adobe’s Creative Program, from Illustrator 88 in 1987 to the introduction of the Creative Suite and their subsequent updates. Along with the release dates of each version of software secondary information is provided on the companies acquisitions and profits, and other technological developments: introduction of the CD-ROM, Pentium processor, release of the Iphone,etc, that would have influenced the companies development of the various software programs.
Six levels of information combine into the timeline, including: program lifespans, program releases, technological developments, company profits, company activities, and miscellaneous program developments. Along the program timelines, views will find information about program releases and updates, platform variations, and new features integrated from other programs. Utilizing the same platform icons, the technology section highlights key advances in technology to
give context to the program releases.
