The brief was to come up with a name and logo for a very trendy kitchen/bathroom showroom. Their sister company incorporates a tagline to their the logo 'life' They wanted a very subtle connection. I researched the company and products thoroughly, the products being mainly imported from Spain, therefore came up with the name 'vida' meaning 'life' simply adding the 'co' for company, on the end was enough of a connection for the client resulting in 'Vidaco' The design was kept light, crisp and simple reflecting the company products.
Razorit are a local company who specialise in the sharpening of hairdressing tools. Using sharp edges on the font and giving a small reflection to the logo created the perfect look for the client.
The Links Partnership
These guys specialise in IT. The square font works well giving the feeling of security and reliability. The icon itself is very computer based, vector, bold and simple. This represents 2 elements entwining together, which could represent files, software, coding etc.
A local hairdressing salon with the fuchsia flower being very close to the clients heart. I successfully gave the fuchsia a very modernised touch.
A financial tracing service, which deals with tracing absconding clients and gone aways. I came up with the name Dragnet meaning to 'find'. The icon, as you can see, is representing a visual net giving the impression of being captured.
