'A mare' is a light and fluid contemporary porcelain design , capturing the imagination with its refined individual lines. The line offers infinite possibilities for sensual arrangements that bring joy to the table, making a relaxed and romantic atmosphere as if you're enjoying yourself in a pretty beach house overlooking the sea.
The task was to choose a tableware company and explore its history, concept, designs and materials used. The research was then followed by choosing the inspiration, key words and doing the sketches in order to produce a unique tableware set for the chosen company.
The 'A mare' collection takes its inspiration from the sea life: sea shells and starfish and the company chosen was Villeroy&Boch.
