IS BARCLAYS BIKE REALLY USEFULFOR FOREIGNERS AND VISTORS
TO TRAVEL LONDON?
This project started by my curious and personal experience of using ‘Barclays Bikes’. Actually, this brand usually introduced that it is useful to sightseeing around the London. Barclays Cycle Hire currently provides over 8,000 cycles at 15,000 docking points in London and now operates across central and eastern London. But, DFT(Department for Transport) figures shows that in the UK in 2007, per billion kilometres travelled, the equivalent of 35 cyclists were killed and 541 killed or seriously injured among total casualty figures of 3,814.
As like this, it can be great method to local, however, in my personal view, using this bike is not familiar to visitors to ride on London’s transportation; a lot of cars, narrow roads and confused direction. Therefore, I rode the ‘Barclays Bike’ and recorded all the journey of riding to show that riding Barclays bike in London is a risky adventure to foreigners and tourists.

In the book, the color lines continue from first page to last page. This line is the route which I traveled London by ‘Barclays bike’. And the color changes blue to red by my psychological change when riding ‘Barclays bike’. And the photography which tell the place’s situation locates inside of each Spread.
