This was a pro-bono project that I did for the Lexington Public Library Foundation called A Night of Literary Feasts. The Night of Literary Feasts is an annual fundraiser where donors are urged to purchase tickets to dinner with some of their favorite authors. The foundation board wanted an invitation that showcased all of the authors that would be involved, so I designed the invitation in a book format to feature photographs of the authors, their books, a synopsis of their featured book and a brief bio. The fundraiser went well in 2009 and I was asked to design the invitations again for 2010. The 2010 A Night of Literary Feasts invitation received the Award for Outstanding Efforts Award by the American Library Association. I also designed and wrote copy for the print ad for the event.
