Turning 21 has been a significant moment for most people. It was finally my turn to celebrate. I've always been a huge fan of bossa nova, black ties, suits and black & white movies. The invitation card was inspired by old movie tickets. Details on the ticket included the floor number of the venue, which was illustrated like old elevator floor indicators and the traditional clock was used to inform the time to arrive. The ticket holder contained the map of the venue, a short invitation note and a slot to hold the ticket in place. The poster was inspired from old vinyl players and showcased names of the bossa nova artistes that were played on that night.
