Some things are hard to say, others are hard to accept.
But whatever the case may be, the truth will always be a bitter pill.
That feels like a ball of barbed wire as it moves down your throat and
settles down in your stomach. And it takes its time, dissolves away in
the smallest of increment, but the pain is unrelenting even then.
Slowly your start to learn to live with it, going about your daily routine
in a charade crowned by denial. As time passes, you realize that the pain does
not matter anymore, because the ball of barbed wires is gone,
the pill has finally dissolved. And you find yourself with the one thing
that you never thought possible when this ordeal began,
All it takes, is time.
