    In our final year of university, my atelier group worked under the theme of print design with particular influence from French poster culture. «À L'Affiche» ['on display'] was an end-of-year exhibition we held at the Institut Français. I branded the event, producing a logo, invitations, name tags, and (in collaboration with Thomas Wightman) a bespoke poster for the exhibition entrance.
    The logo is a modular mark that takes its inspiration from the DIN paper sizes. It changes subtly in each application, hinting at the variety of work on show. The poster design broke the text – vive à l'affiche – into eight stylistically distinct sections, each alluding to the work of the eight students whose work was on show as a way of tying all the work together under one banner: A L'Affiche.
